Degrees Offered

Wofford College offers degrees of Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BS).  A candidate for the BA must complete the requirements for one of the following major programs of study: Art History, Business Economics, Chemistry, Chinese, English, Environmental Studies, French, German, Government, History, Humanities, Intercultural Studies, International Affairs, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Spanish, Studio Art, or Theatre.  A candidate for the BS degree must complete the requirements for one of the following major programs of study:  Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Environmental Studies, Finance, Math, Physics, or Psychology.   

Both Chemistry and Environmental Studies offer a BA and BS degree.  For Chemistry and Environmental Studies the requirements for the major program of study differ between the BA and BS.  The degree awarded is predicated upon the set of requirements completed.  Students pursuing Chemistry or Environmental Studies should speak with their advisor about the degree options and the requirements associated with each.

Students that complete two or more major programs of study will be conferred a single degree.  Students that complete a major program of study associated with the BA and a major program of study associated with the BS, may specify which of the two degrees they prefer to be awarded.
