An exploration of the biology, natural history and diversity of vertebrates, and the evolution of form and function within this group.. The lab focuses on developing and conducting an original research project centered on vertebrate biology. Skills in preparing a primary literature review, producing a grant proposal, sound experimental design and data analysis will be developed. Students will conduct an original research project and prepare results for written and oral presentation.

Prerequisite: BIO 213 with a minimum grade of D or ENVS 203 with a minimum grade of D.
