An introduction to the cultures of Latin America, with a focus on historical dynamics in the context of social and cultural diversity. Fosters continued development of four skills, with increased control of language across a range of advanced level tasks, as well as intercultural competence. Conducted in Spanish. Successful completion of this course satisfies the Cultures and Peoples requirement for graduation.

Prerequisite: SPAN 303 with a minimum grade of C.
