PHIL 335. Buddhist Philosophy. 3 Hours.

An in-depth study of key concepts in Buddhist philosophy, including personhood, karma, rebirth, and the nature of reality, as developed within Buddhist traditions of India and Tibet. Particular emphasis is placed on arguments used by Buddhist thinkers to advocate or critique philosophical positions held by others, both Buddhist and non-Buddhist . Successful completion of this course satisfies the Cultures and Peoples requirement for graduation.
