Degree requirements are the purview of the faculty.  The awarding of degrees is based on requirements created and approved by them.  In addition to degree requirements, the faculty have also established academic policies and regulations to preserve the academic integrity of the institution.  Students are required to comply with those regulations as outlined in the Catalog.
