One of the goals of the Office of Diversity & Inclusion is to provide students with opportunities to engage difference and learn to appreciate the civil discourse that can occur between individuals willing to share their different experiences and beliefs.  Regardless of race, class, religion, sexual orientation, gender or physical disability, or any other diversity dimension, students must be able to engage any individual in a knowledgeable and respectful manner. The staff realizes the special attention needed to ensure that students have their cultures and identities explored and represented in higher education, so we commit resources to provide this targeted support and programming both academically and socially.
